Highlights include:
\nAll warfare is based on deception
\nRapidity is the essence of war
\nAn army without spies is like a man without ears or eyes
\nPreparation is everything
\nExcellence is breaking the enemy’s resistance without fighting
\nHow to lead and
\nHow do deal with the enemy<\/p>\n

Barker closes out the article by saying that he doesn’t think that Sun Tzu’s Art of War<\/a> should be applied to most situations of conflict – the issues that most of us deal with are better handled with the tools of negotiation than war.<\/p>\n
